No-tune mix
I have a 660cc engine running 12-14 psi of boost. The IC is a top mount inter heater, and I can feel the power drop as the car gets warm and the traffic slows. I have installed an injection kit to cool things down, and have not yet decided on the mix to use. I have been told that 12-13% is the range in which the water and meth kinda even out in flame front advancement and retardation. I have access to up to 50% methanol for semi cheap, after that it gets expensive fast. What is the recommended % for those not looking to tune, just to cool things off and make more power.
Tuning for the platform would be very expensive as it's not a "peformance" car, just something I want to toy with while I am in japan. |

10-15% water/methanol to fuel ratio from 10psi boost will be good for your application.
It may sound a great deal of injectant, but if you include 15 parts of air, it is only about 1% of extra mass.

I don't know my overall fuel flow as there is not alot of info about the engine out in English. I have a 1 GPH (63ml/min) nozzle after the TMIC, and a .5 gph (30 ml/min) nozzle before the turbo. I have more nozzles to increase flow if needed. The pump is only a 100 psi pump.

You should be able to search out for fuel injector size information of your car somewhere. Altermative based on 200BHP requires 1000cc of fuel as an estimator.

I seem to have 63 horsepower
http://english.auto.vl.ru/catalog/da...1999_11/11148/ so I would have about 300cc's of flow, and 10% of that would be about 30cc's of flow for the nozzles. Is your cc figure in minutes I am guessing? |

Do my numbers look right? What percent meth and water should I be looking at?
